עברית: בשנת 1973 הקימה רפא"ל – רשות לפיתוח אמצעי לחימה", אז יחידת סמך של משרד הביטחון קבוצה מתחרה לצעוד בצעדת שלושת הימים שלאחר מכן נקראה צעדת ירושלים. זאת הייתה הצעדה האחרונה לפני מלחמת יום כיפור שבה צעדו 3 ימים. לאחר מלחמת יום כיפור צעדו רק יום אחד. הקבוצה התחרתה במסגרת קבוצות מעורבות נשים וגברים למקומות עבודה. רפא"ל השקיעה באימון הקבוצה להליכה מתאימה כולל בגדים מתאימים ולינה לחברי הקבוצה באזור ירושלים. בתחרות זכתה רפא"ל ביום הראשון במקום שלישי, ביום השני במקום שני, וביום השלישי במקום ראשון. בממוצע זכתה במקום שני. לאחר מכן בצעדות הבאות של יום אחד, רפא"ל זכתה תמיד במקום ראשון.
