עברית: בית הכנסת נבנה בשנת 1886 (תרמ"ו)בכספי הברון רוטשילד. הצילום של לואי קאהן משנת 1912 מתאר את מצבו לפני ביקור הרבנים בשנת 1913 שבמהלכו הוזזה הבמה מקיר המזרח אל מרכז בית הכנסת. את מנורת
הנחושת התלויה ניתן לראות עד היום בבית הכנסת.
English: The synagogue was built in 1886 with the money of Baron Rothschild. Louis Kahn's photograph from 1912 depicts his condition before the Rabbis' visit in 1913, during which the stage was moved from the east wall to the center of the synagogue. |
