Description
עברית: המשרד הארצישראלי היה הזרוע המבצעת של ההסתדרות הציונית בארץ ישראל שתפקידו העיקרי היה קידום, מימון וניהול פעילות ההתיישבות בארץ. פעילותיו כללו תכנון ההתיישבות, קניית אדמות, הקצאת כספים, רכישת קרקעות, הקמת יישובים חקלאיים ועירוניים חדשים, ניהול חוות חקלאיות, הקצאת מתיישבים ליישובים השונים, עזרה ליישובים קיימים בהדרכה ועזרה לפועלים. הבניין ההיסטורי של המשרד הארצישראלי שכן ביפו, ברחוב רזיאל מספר 17, ונהרס בשנת 2001 על ידי בעליו, הכנסייה המארונית, על אף שהיה מבנה לשימור.
