עברית: בחודש יולי 2016 התגלה על ידי אלכס רינגר נזק שנגרם לתבליט של מיכאל קארה באנדרטה לחללי נשר במערכות ישראל השוכנת בגבעת נשר. הסדק העמוק בתבליט נצפה מספר שבועות לפני כן ונתנה התרעה על כך לגורמים המתאימים, אך עד שנפלה ההחלטה לשקם את התבליט, העמיק הסדק ובשבת בבוקר, כנראה, נשר החלק והתנפץ. בעקבות כך נעשה תיקון לתבליט על ידי משמרים של המועצה לשימור אתרי מורשת בישראל.
