Description
العربية: شاطئ كليوباترا الذي يقع على بعد نحو 5 كيلومترات إلى الشمال الغربي من مدينة مرسى مطروح، وتعود تسميته بهذا الى قصص مبهمة عن ملكة مصر "كليوباترا" ذات الجذور البطلمية، والتي انتحرت عام 1930 قبل الميلاد، وعمرها 39 عاماً بعد قصة حب مع القائد الروماني أنطونيو. ويوجد في هذا الشاطئ تشكيل صخري مغلق من الجانبين ومن أعلى، تمر من جانبيه الآخرين مياه البحر متجددة مع كل حركة للأمواج، ويعرف باسم "حمَّام كليوباترا" حيث اعتادت الملكة الحريصة على المحافظة على جمالها، على النزول في تلك المياه يوميا لأخذ حمام في مياه البحر الدافئة. وحتى يومنا هذا، نجد بعض الفتيان والفتيات يغامرون باجتياز الصخور الزلقة والأمواج، للوصول لـ"الحمَّام" الخاص بالملكة المصرية. ومن هناك تدرك أن حراسها وخدمها كانوا يتلصصون عليها من خلف الكثبان الرملية والمرتفعات الصخرية.
