Summary

Description	العربية: منذ تأسيسها سنة 1960 كانت المدينة تلبي حاجيات سكانها عبر المياه عن طريق بحيرة اديني الجوفية 60 كلمتر شرق نواكشوط لكن نظراً لتضاعف عدد السكان وازدياد الضغط على بحيرة اديني الجوفية لم تعد هذه الأخيرة كافية لتلبية احتياجات السكان عبر المياه الصالحة للشرب مما أدى إلى ازمة مياه سنة -2006 تم اجراء عدة دراسات لحل المشجميع وانتهى الأمر بالحكومة الموريتانية إلى تبني مشروع أفطوط الساحلي
