ไทย: พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฏเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่ 6 จึงได้ทรงกรุณา โปรดเกล้าพระราชทานบรมราชานุญาตให้เปิด "หอทะเบียนเมืองเพ็ชร์บุรี " ขึ้น เมื่อวันที่1พฤษภาคม ร.ศ.130 โดยอาศัยศาลาวัดชีสระอินทร์ เป็นที่ทำการชั่วคราว ในปีเดียวกันกรมทะเบียนที่ดินได้ดำเนินการจัดสร้างอาคารถาวรขึ้นในที่ดิน ราชพัสดุ โฉนดที่ 7538 อำเภอเมืองเพชรบุรี (คลองกระแชง) จังหวัดเพชรบุรี เนื้อที่ประมาณ ไร่ 3 งาน 56 ตารางวา ลักษณะเป็นอาคารชั้นเดียว 2 ห้อง ก่ออิฐฉาบปูนขาว จึงได้ย้ายที่ทำการมาปฏิบัติงาน ณ อาคารที่สร้างขึ้นตลอดมา
ครั้นเมื่อพระราชบัญญัติให้ใช้ประมวลกฎหมายที่ดินพ.ศ.2497 ใช้บังคับ ได้มีการเปลี่ยนชื่อจาก "หอทะเบียนเมืองเพ็ชร์" เป็น "สำนักงานที่ดินจังหวัดเพชรบุรี"
