中文（臺灣）：本期社區報介紹頭城搶孤各庄製作孤棧的流程與方法。 「頭城搶孤」為宜蘭縣知名的縣定民俗，但僅是整個中元祭典的最後階段。為讓民眾能夠親身參與及深度認識頭城中元祭典的文化內涵，除出版《七月尾－悠遠的頭城中元祭》繪本外，亦舉辦「散策頭城－村落裡的中元祭」活動，觀察村落長輩參與砍竹、剖竹、削藤、綁飯棧、綁孤棧、步行運孤棧到搶孤會場、豎孤柱、綁孤棚、竹安河口放水燈等中元祭典活動。 早期頭城各村庄都在村落廟埕或農田裡由當地民眾共同製作，如下埔在福聖廟，中崙在中興廟，拔雅林在神農廟。孤棧以竹子為材，把當棧心的莿竹下段剖為四片（代表四季），剖開後放入預先綁好的13個圓竹箍（今多以鐵箍代替），再用黃籐將內側的圓箍與外側的四個竹片固定，最外側再綁上代表12個月的12根長枝竹，並在孤棧頂端綁上棧尾竹。最後，則在孤棧上綁上各村庄居民所奉獻具有在地特色的供品，並在搶孤當天上午將孤棧運至搶孤會場。 |
