中文（臺灣）： 三星鄉為本國銀柳主要產地，佔全台銀柳耕地面積約95%、產量則約為八成。
三星鄉因為氣候條件適合銀柳栽種，銀柳發育期畏光，故而銀柳栽種多聚集於三星鄉萬富村、仁和村、萬德村以及天湖村等靠近山邊又有蘭陽溪穩定水源之村落。這些村落因為靠近山邊所以比較少日照，又因為水源穩定，故而符合銀柳之栽種條件。 因「銀柳」與台語「銀兩」發音略同，成為過節喜氣的特選物。繫上絲帶、元寶、紅包等裝飾後，成為財運喜氣的盆景，是家家戶戶過年時必備的應節花卉。因此，在農曆春節前後，三星銀柳運往全台各地的花卉市場，成為三星鄉重要的經濟作物之一。 |
