Description
中文（臺灣）：臺灣傳統建築裝飾之主題，除美目怡情外，大多具有象徵意涵，如趨吉避凶、祈望寄託等。二結王公廟中的建築裝飾，即大多具有象徵意涵。在正殿進入神龕的兩側門扇上方之木雕花堵，即是以「漁樵耕讀」為主題，乃是古人祈望在退休後的理想生活型態。龍邊木雕花堵主題為「漁樵」，畫面右上角可見立於架高橋臺上的樵夫，雙手舉起斧頭正往下砍劈；下方則有三位人物，一人持釣竿，中間老者則持釣竿並揹魚簍，另一人揹魚簍，正用雙手準備抓水中的大魚。虎邊木雕花堵主題為「耕讀」，畫面左邊可見一位農夫手持鋤頭耕作，中間一位老農則拄著鋤頭，兩人都望著右上角的讀書先生；讀書先生在屋中書桌旁讀書，有一人正步上階梯往讀書先生走去，而書房下方則置有盛瓜果的盤子。今所見二結王公廟舊廟為1929-1932（昭和4-7）年間重建，2002年經宜蘭縣政府公告登錄為歷史建築。
