中文（臺灣）：宜蘭溪北礁溪以溫泉馳名，溪南蘇澳冷泉亦不遑多讓，北熱南冷、冬暖夏涼，宜蘭泡湯四季皆宜。冷泉的開發始自日本時期，最早發現冷泉之人為第一任日本總督樺山資紀，而真正開發蘇澳冷泉第一人則是日人竹中信景。1895年竹中信景隨日軍登陸台灣，時任日本近衛師團司令部主計，搭仙台輪輸送物資從蘇澳上岸，此後竹中信景參與全島產業資源調查，更深入了解冷泉之珍貴，並開發出冷泉「那姆內」彈珠汽水而風靡全台。竹中信景可稱為「冷泉之父」，這段珍貴的冷泉歷史，經由竹中信景孫女竹中信子於2003年訪蘇澳時獲得證實，竹中信子並帶來當年冷泉老照片，以作為日後籌建冷泉博物館重要史料。今天的蘇澳冷泉園內豎立了一座「冷泉先驅者紀念碑」，即為表彰竹中信景開發蘇澳冷泉的貢獻，碑後的紅磚牆，據說即為當年彈珠汽水工廠的遺址。 |
