中文（臺灣）：劉宇邦為來臺移民的第三代，民國60年1月23日出生，祖籍為河南省開封縣人，岡山出生。其祖父為空軍的土官，於民國37年隨國民黨軍隊來臺，當時落腳於岡山一帶，但後來祖父因宗教的關係，遭到部隊開除，後為了養家的關係，開始改良來自四川家鄉的豆瓣醬，因當時剛好遇到了謝東閔的「家庭即工廠」，即開始利用家庭辦理豆瓣醬工廠，並沿著眷村叫賣，在岡山一帶眷村相當有名。
