中文（臺灣）：劉炳榮為民國29年11月30日出生，四川省樂山縣人。
其父為劉明德，民前1年11月13日出生，工人階級出生，民國36年3月，加入空軍通信電子學校，後於民國37年中秋節前後隨部隊來臺，部隊由基隆港上岸，再轉進岡山，沿途看到當時臺灣的情形，訪談中也有部份形容遷移的過程，頗具參考價值。 然而，民國39年5月，劉炳榮父親因匪諜嫌疑遭到開除，疑因誣陷有關，退伍後的父親自行創業，改良四川豆瓣醬，於當時的岡山眷村都小有名氣。民國74年3月4日父親過世。 |
