中文:白沙屯媽祖徒步進香(英語:The Baishatun Mazu Pilgrimage),為臺灣苗栗縣通霄鎮白沙屯拱天宮信眾代代相傳之民間宗教儀式。在該儀式中,諸信眾及工作人員以徒步方式抬著媽祖神轎縱跨苗栗縣、臺中市、彰化縣、雲林縣等地區及橫渡大安溪、大甲溪、大肚溪、濁水溪,前往北港朝天宮進香。隊伍上除白沙屯媽祖外,還有來自苗栗縣後龍鎮南港里山邊媽祖宮的山邊媽祖共同乘轎進香。回鑾到通霄新埔秋茂園,由四人轎換八人轎,換八人轎後不准再鑽轎腳。白沙屯媽祖進香的的特色是只有「起駕日」、「刈火日」與「回宮日」為每年農曆12月15日下午擲筊,每年天數、路線皆不固定,這是媽祖指應轎夫行轎前進,每年來回徒步約300公里,是台灣最特殊的進香隊伍之一。
English: The Baishatun Mazu Pilgrimage is a folk religious ceremony passed down from generation to generation in Baishatun Gongtian Temple in Tongxiao Town, Miaoli County, Taiwan. During the ceremony, the believers and staff carried the Matsu God Sedan on foot across Miaoli County, Taichung City, Changhua County, Yunlin County and other areas, and crossed the Daan Creek, Dajia Creek, Datu Creek, and Zhuoshui Creek. Go to Beigang Chaotian Temple to get incense. In addition to Baishatun Mazu, there was a mountain-side Mazu from the Mazu Palace on the mountainside of Nangangli, Houlong Town, Miaoli County. Back to Tongxiao Xinpu Qiu Maoyuan, the four-seater sedan will be replaced by the eight-seater sedan. After the eight-seater sedan is not allowed to drill the car feet again. The characteristics of Baisha Tun Mazu Jinxiang are that only "starting day", "beacon day" and "return to the palace day" are thrown on the afternoon of December 15th of the lunar calendar. The number of days and routes are not fixed every year. This is what Mazu refers to The bearer travels around the car and walks about 300 kilometers back and forth each year. It is one of Taiwan's most special trekking teams.
