Description
中文（繁體）：和平島公園千疊敷，基隆市中正區平寮里（社寮中山子島）
English: Due to the plate tectonics movement, the pedestal rocks rise out of sedimentary rocks. The erosion resistance of the head (calcium carbonate, CaCo3) on the pedestal rocks is greater than the neck (sandstone). Due to the erosion difference, it appears that the sandstone is covered with a black-brown mushroom cap, looking just like a shiitake mushroom!
