Description
中文（臺灣）：「壽公學校」，其設立的時間為日本治理臺灣的時期的1917年（大正6年）。它位置為現今的壽豐國小，其在設立初期被稱為「鯉魚尾蕃人公學校」，一直到了1922年（大正11年）才又改名為後來的「壽公學校」，這是由臺灣總督府所計畫之兒童義務教育的學制之一。在當時，除了設立以在地原住民為主的蕃人公學校外，在花蓮其他地區也設立了供漢人學子學習的「公學校」，以及提供日籍學子求學的「小學校」。例如：薄薄公學校、吉野尋常高等小學校等等。此影像收錄於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》一書，為葉柏強先生撰寫、花蓮縣文化局於2016年（民國105年）出版。書中記錄了花蓮近百年的城市樣貌，是一本擁有豐富文史與圖像資料的書籍。
