中文（臺灣）：大火房浣衣池。「夥房」是典型的客家聚名稱，高雄、屏東六堆的客家聚落按照祖居地的傳統命名「夥房」，而桃竹苗區域以至中部的客家民宅，則大致上命名「伙房」。竹霄區域的鍾屋「大火房」聚落，據稱原名「大伙房」，後來訛為「大火房」，此後一直沿用，反而成為獨具風格的地名。客家的夥房建築，是一種家族合院聚落，以祖堂為中心，眾多共同宗族所建的居所。客家建築遵循「祖在廳，神在廟」的傳統祭祀區隔空間，亦即祖堂、公廳只供奉祖先牌位，逢年過節則到寺廟祭拜神明。 大伙房在霄裡最北邊，自拓墾以來，遺世而獨立，因而有「長壽村」之稱。鍾屋聚落的中心是鍾姓祖堂「穎川堂」，堂的左側是「秀山宮」，更左側則為「換子壢」。右側則為鍾屋伙房聚落，更右側則為浣衣池。穎川堂前為開闊的霄裡田，頗有「看不盡霄裡田」的景觀，背倚崁頂的崖丘，是充分展現「環抱維護，前敞後實」的傳統風水觀。 |
