中文（繁體）：昭應宮主祀媽祖，初建時依傳統坐西朝東，面向大海，有佑護海上生靈之意。到了道光年間，整座廟宇搬到對面，並擴大格局為三殿式，但其方位卻改為坐東朝西，成為臺灣唯一面山的媽祖廟。 |
