Description
中文（繁體）：清道光8年「林氏姑婆祖碑記」，是林姓宗族以天上聖母林默娘的裔孫為榮，故稱呼天上聖母為「姑婆祖」，有別於一般信眾之稱天上聖母為「媽祖」或「媽祖婆」。臺灣天上聖母相關碑記均稱「媽祖」，此碑記則為直接史料與證物，且是全臺唯一者，其珍貴性及稀有性無庸置疑，深具歷史價值。
English: Taiwan’s related inscriptions all called Lin Mo Niang as “Mazu”, but In this inscription, the descendants of Lin Mo Niang called her as the “Aunt Zu”. This is the only historical material and evidence of Taiwan. Its preciousness and rarity are unquestionable and have historical value.
