Description
English: Chamdo is a prefecture-level city in the eastern part of the Tibet Autonomous Region, China.
中文(中国大陆):昌都市是中国西藏自治区下辖的地级市,传统上属于康区。位于西藏自治区东部,地处横断山脉和金沙江、澜沧江、怒江三江流域,素有“藏东明珠”的美称。自清末改土归流置昌都府以来,昌都便一直是昌都地区的政治、经济、文化和交通中心,享有“藏东门户”的盛誉。
