中文:駐加拿大代表處曾大使厚仁本(11)月8日應邀出席加拿大智庫「麥唐納勞里埃研究所」(Macdonald-Laurier Institute, MLI)舉辦「台灣與印太區域」午餐演講會擔任主講,與會貴賓包括加、美、日、澳、捷克、德國、法國、韓國、印度、菲律賓及歐盟等多達10個國家及國際組織之官員使節、智庫學者及加國國會議員助理,全場座無虛席,迴響熱烈。
曾大使演說特別透過回顧中共二十大會議內容,闡述台灣與印太區域關係,從外交、經濟、軍事及安全各大面向,解讀習近平政治報告,分析其第三任期內中國政經局勢可能發展方向、對印太區域之影響,進而延伸彰顯台灣在該區域捍衛民主自由角色。曾大使演說結束後開放問答,現場提問踴躍,就中國軍事擴張威脅及印太區域情勢積極討論交流。 English: November 8, 2022 at a Macdonald-Laurier roundtable on “Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific” Representative Harry Tseng was invited to a Macdonald-Laurier Institute roundtable on “Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific” as a keynote speaker.
