中文（繁體）：木雕加彩觀世音菩薩（中國南方（19世紀）），臺北市大安區和平次分區龍坡里（大安庄九汴頭）
English: The origin of the religion belief in Guanyin comes from Buddhism, originally as a male figure, but through history and local culture it has developed into many different images or form in gender. In Taiwan, Guanyin is mainly a compassionate female figure, usually worshipped together with Sudhana (translated as "child of wealth" in Chinese) and Longnu (literally meaning "dragon girl").
