中文：本處常大使應邀於澳洲職棒隊伍「坎培拉騎兵隊」主場開球

本處常大使1月18日晚間7時，在澳洲職棒聯盟(ABL) 「坎培拉騎兵隊(Canberra Cavalry)」邀請下，前往球場為該隊與紐西蘭「奧克蘭綠蜥蜴隊（Auckland Tuatara）」的對戰開球。比賽播報員除向在場觀眾介紹常大使，並於首局結束換場空檔向全體觀眾宣布，臺灣人民與政府為這波澳洲野火災情，已經募捐超過4萬澳元及6千枚口罩，再次展現臺澳密切友誼，他本人想特別藉由這個機會，代表澳洲災民向臺灣政府與人民表達最誠摯謝意，現場近2千名群眾聽到立刻報以熱烈掌聲與歡呼。

本次比賽另一觀戰重點，是我國旅美前大聯盟芝加哥小熊隊投手曾仁和擔任「奧克蘭綠蜥蜴隊（Auckland Tuatara）」先發主投，為表達對我國選手的支持，本處員眷共25名也在現場為他打氣加油。
