Description
中文（繁體）：白沙岬燈塔雪白的塔身在蔚藍海天之間顯得十分耀眼，西元1901年點燈啟用後，在日治時期就已是台灣著名勝景，歷經百年以上的歲月洗禮，終於在2001年獲選入列文建會「台灣歷史建築百景」，燈塔建築本體、圍牆與日治時期的日晷儀，在2002年公告成為桃園第一座縣定古蹟，是目前保存最為完整的日治初期燈塔。在清末時期，耗費三年完工的白沙岬燈塔不是由鑄鐵組裝而成，而是採用日語所稱的「煉瓦石造」之雙層磚石耐震構造為其特殊處，磚造圓形的塔身採用古法以糯米、黑糖、石灰等混合物黏合，燈塔上段則是由大塊石材組砌成托架，來承托鑄鐵造的塔頂，歷經二次大戰的戰機掃射，以及多次地震風災而無嚴重損傷。
