Description
中文（臺灣）：台灣傳統廟宇經常運用圖像來表達吉利的象徵寓意，不識字的庶民見圖案即可知匠師所欲傳達的意涵，最常見者即「祈求吉慶」。 　　羅東慶安宮的祈求吉慶表現在步口廊兩側的對看牆外緣。龍邊石堵有兩位人物，上方人物左腳抬起，左手執旗以喻「旗」；下方人物為綁著雙髻的孩童，騎在祥獸麒麟身上，雙手捧球，亦即「求」。虎邊石堵也有兩位人物，上方人物右腳抬起，右手執戟以喻「吉」；下方同樣綁雙髻的孩童，左手持磬牌以喻「慶」。四個人物手持物件「旗」、「球」、「戟」、「磬」組合起來即是「祈求吉慶」。
