中文（臺灣）：圖中為日治時期臺灣步兵第二聯隊的軍旗，正舉辦軍旗祭。步兵第二聯隊駐守濁水溪以南，1907年（明治40年）11月7日，明治天皇將軍旗頒授給聯隊，也因此臺灣步兵第二聯隊將每年的11月7日訂定為祭拜軍旗的日子。這張照片就是步兵第二聯隊的軍旗祭，軍旗在許多臺灣重大的軍事行動中也曾隨軍出動，其中包括發生在1914年（大正3年）的太魯閣事件。臺灣步兵第二聯隊除了駐守於臺南的隊本部之外，另外聯隊下還有三個單位，分別是花蓮港分屯大隊、玉里分屯中隊、臺東分屯中隊。此影像收錄於2016年（民國105年）由花蓮文史工作者葉柏強先生撰寫、花蓮縣文化局出版的《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》，書中收錄了大量花蓮在地的歷史影像，如老照片、繪葉書、宣傳摺頁、郵戳樣式等，是深入花蓮文史的重要書籍。 |
