中文：這批相片由台灣新生報記者於1969年5月28日所拍攝，主題為華越同心照片展覽。越南共和國配合總統阮文紹訪華舉辦照片展覽，於臺北市省立博物館（今國立臺灣博物館）揭幕，由越南專使阮富德及外交部次長蔡維屏共同主持剪綵，國史館館長黃季陸、越南駐華公使代辦阮文矯等也到場參與。
1950年韓戰爆發，中華民國政府於1954年與美國簽訂《中美共同防禦條約》，成為美國在東亞地區反共圍堵政策的一環。1954年法國在越南戰場失敗後，越南以北緯17度線劃分為北邊的越南民主共和國與南邊的越南共和國（俗稱北越與南越）。南越與中華民國同持反共立場，1955年10月中華民國承認南越。1957年雙方將公使館升格為大使館，常有訪問活動。 1967年阮文紹成功當選總統，而相片背景為1969年5月30日阮文紹首度抵臺訪問，並於6月3日與總統蔣中正發表共同對付共產黨侵略之聯合公報。相片顯示冷戰期間臺灣的外交處境，以及博物館如何配合政府的外交政策。 |
