中文（臺灣）：此圖為日治時期花崗山上，前往花蓮公會堂的入口。花蓮港公會堂是昔日重要的公共集會場所，於1921年（大正10年）9月動工，1922年（大正11年）3月12日落成。花蓮港公會堂提供當時的商人、旅客、行政人員等在此小聚、集會，或是來舉辦重要活動的場所。由於隨著城鎮的人口增加，公會堂已經不能滿足當時的需求，政府遂擴建昭和紀念館，提供更多資源與服務。公會堂隨著時間的發展隨之式微，現今公會堂周圍住所、商業店家林立，其舊址則成為今日的花蓮縣國民黨黨部。此影像收錄於2016年（民國105年）由花蓮文史工作者葉柏強先生撰寫、花蓮縣文化局出版的《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》，書中收錄了大量花蓮在地的歷史影像，如老照片、繪葉書、宣傳摺頁、郵戳樣式等，是深入花蓮文史的重要書籍。 |
