中文：此張照片約攝於1958年（民國47）年雙十國慶期間，畫面前排中央為蔣宋美齡，當天帶著婦聯會到國軍北投醫院進行慰問勞軍活動，而在其身後帶著軍官帽的人物為醫院精神病科主任郭紓為及駐外使節，後方有歡迎紅布條，桌面上有婦聯會旗幟。 婦聯會與各地眷村的關係十分密切，而中心新村因為緊鄰國軍北投醫院，因此蔣宋美齡更是常常會來，而當時與中心新村最相關的，就是在蔣宋美齡的號召下，從各界募得善款，捐贈眷舍，1964年（民國53年）在中心新村就建造七棟 (共18戶)眷舍。 |
