中文（繁體）：達悟族椰油社（Yayo）陶罐，新北市鶯歌區南靖里（南靖厝）
English: Yami (Tao) potteries are made by adult males. According to customs, they must be made in August and September, subjected to certain taboos. The products are mainly everyday appliances such as cooking pots/bowls. Pottery dolls are made for recreation at during leisure. In modern times, the imported containers have replaced the traditional ones. Rustic traditional dolls attract tourist's attention, and have become the most popular Yami (Tao) pottery and one of the most important cultural symbols.
