此為測量酒精濃度之儀器,透過比重及玻璃上的刻度可量測酒精的濃度。儀器外盒上有金屬標籤,上有文字「理農 Cl.469 No.20」,推測為臺北帝國大學理農學部之儀器,後輾轉由臺大農業化學系李達源教授承接,並捐贈給臺大校史館典藏。

English: Hydrometre is an instrument for measuring the concentration of alcohol through the specific gravity and the scale on the glass. The wooden box has a metal tag stating "Science and Agriculture Cl.469 No.20", presumed to be the instrument used by the Faculty of Science and Agriculture of Taihoku Imperial University. The device eventually found its way to Professor Lee Dar-Yuan of the Department of Agricultural Chemistry and was donated to the NTU History Gallery. |
