Description 鐵路局局長宿舍-在清末以前原為私有耕田及民宅，至1885（光緒11）年台灣首任巡撫劉銘傳擇此建造臺北機器局。日人治臺初延續原有軍事用途，成為砲兵修理工廠，之後轉為鐵道部及鐵道工場，工場遷出後有改為鐵道部宿舍區，逐漸演變成今日樣貌。
