Description
中文（臺灣）：日治時期，臺灣各地屠宰場（俗稱「豬灶」）旁常豎立獸魂碑，以此憑弔犧牲的動物，安鎮其亡魂。霧峰的「獸魂碑」在甲寅村振興街，也就是日治時期霧峰的屠宰場所在，目前已改建為一小型社區籃球場。立碑時間註明「紀元二千六百年紀念」，即西元1940（日昭和15）年。（撰寫者：李沂臻）
