中文（臺灣）：飯春花原本是福佬人習俗，「春」字和閩南語的「剩」同音，具有「年年有餘、歲歲有餘糧、年年食不盡」之意，也有發財等吉祥的意義。 飯春花目前在臺灣已被大家廣泛地使用，《臺灣民俗文物辭彙類編》紀載到：「除夕到過年期間插在春飯、發粿上面增加新年吉慶意味的春花，閩南語音「春仔花」，又稱「飯春花」。除夕時要敬拜神明和祖先，供桌上會供著長年飯和發粿，上面插著「飯春花」，表示年年有餘（有剩）、發財如意．．．一般民眾會在發粿和飯上插著「春花」，有用紅紙自行剪成碎花狀的，也有市面販售較漂亮的由紅色泡棉作成花形，或有印刷紙片寫著「春」字，以及有花形葉片的。」 |
