中文：這批相片由台灣新聞報記者於2000年4月1日拍攝，主題為同性之愛婚紗秀。大樂倉儲批發和京艷婚紗攝影名店合辦的婚紗秀，於高雄市大樂民族店舉行。有男性模特兒穿著新娘禮服，也有女性模特兒紮起頭髮穿著新郎禮服，男男女女一同走秀。臺下民眾除了看得津津有味外，也竊竊私語討論模特兒是不是同志。主辦方則強調模特兒不是同性戀，只是希望大眾能尊重與包容同性之愛。
當時臺灣社會對於同性婚姻、多元性別等態度保守。同一年4月20日，屏東縣高樹國中的學生葉永鋕在廁所跌倒，隔日不治死亡。他因為性別氣質陰柔遭到同學欺負，選擇在上課時間上廁所，導致沒有被及時發現。而2001年行政院研究考核發展委員會民調，贊成同婚者23%，反對者則有60%。這顯示臺灣校園與社會內保守封閉的風氣與嚴重的性霸凌問題。 2006與2013年曾有立法委員提出同婚法案。2016年支持婚姻平權的蔡英文當選總統。2017年大法官釋字第748號宣告民法禁止同婚違憲，2年內須完成立法。2018年公民投票確立修法原則。2019年行政院提出《司法院釋字第七四八號解釋施行法》，5月17日立法院三讀通過，24日正式實施。中華民國是亞洲第一個同婚合法國家。 相片拍攝時應該很難想像婚姻平權的理想可在20年內達成，舉辦這樣的婚紗秀算是相當前衛。但是婚紗秀把同性伴侶想像為異性戀式一男一女的框架，則顯示出侷限的一面。 |
