한국어: 《삼국사기》선덕왕 13년(644) 9월에, 왕은 김유신(金庾信)을 상장군으로 삼아 백제의 가혜성(加兮城), 성열성(省熱城), 동대성(同大城) 등 7성을 크게 이기고, 가혜진(加兮津)을 개척하였다. 선덕왕 14년(645) 정월에 귀국할 때 백제가 매리포성(買利浦城)을 공격한다는 급보를 받고 왕을 뵙기도 전에 김유신을 상주(上州) 장군으로 임명하여 방어하게 하였다. 김유신 상장군이 청풍강 유역에 백제 7성의 전투기간은 9월에 출전하여 이듬해 정월에 귀국한 바와 같이 4개월간 원정전투가 명백하므로 낙동강 유역에 백제 7성은 성립할 수 없다. 특히 상주(上州)는 지금의 경북 상주지방의 군사영역에 속으므로 밀양지역에 매리포성(買利浦城)은 성립할 수 없으며, 청풍강 유역에 백제 7성과 인접한 단양군 매포면에서 가까운 작성(鵲城)으로 비정한다. 김유신 상장군은 청풍강변에 웅거한 가은산 가혜성을 공취하면서 가혜진(加兮津)을 개척할 수 있었다. |
