Description
English: Wall memorial to Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Paston Mack of the Suffolk Regiment 9th Battalion, who was killed in 1916 at the Battle of the Somme. The plaque is inside the parish church of Saint Margaret which is located within the village of Paston, Norfolk, England. Mack was killed on the 15th September 1916 during the attack on the German position known as the Quadrilateral.Mack was Mentioned-in-Dispatches in January 1917 by Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig, for gallant and distinguished service in the field for his actions at the Quadrilateral.
