Description
English: Hatchment in St Andrew’s Church, Gunton Park, Norfolk, England of William Harbord, 2nd Baron Suffield (1766-1821) who married Lady Caroline Hobart (d.1850), one of the three daughters and co-heiresses of John Hobart, 2nd Earl of Buckinghamshire, of Blickling Hall in Norfolk, but had no children. On his death his title passed to his brother Edward. Arms of Harbord, Baron Suffield. Quarterly: 1st and 4th, Quarterly azure and gules, four lions rampant argent and in the centre an Imperial Crown or (Harbord); 2nd and 3rd, Argent, a fleur-de-lis gules (Morden); with inescutcheon of pretence of Sable, an estoile of eight points or two flaunches ermine (Hobart of Blickling Hall, Norfolk) quartering Argent, on a chief vert a cross tau between two mullets or (Drury) (John Hobart, 2nd Earl of Buckinghamshire (1723-1793) married firstly Mary Anne Drury, daughter and heiress of Sir Thomas Drury, 1st Baronet, and secondly Caroline Conolly, daughter of William James Conolly, but died without surviving male issue and was succeeded by his half-brother George Hobart, 3rd Earl of Buckinghamshire)
