A goddess (Shaktism) tradition Hindu temple, yantra principles, geometric ratios

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The entrance features the faces of goddess Lakshmi, Saraswati, Kali, and Bhuvaneshwari. With them are 64 Chaunsath Yoginis (two are shown above). The entrance also includes Ganesha and Kartikeya.

Past the entrance, inside are two concentric rows of 108 Shakta themes (reflecting 108 Hindu Upanishads). The central temple is dedicated to an aspect of Tripura Sundari.

The temple is constructed as a 3D projection of the Sri Yantra or Sri Chakra. It celebrates everything feminine, as the creative fuel and energy of the universe.

This is one of the hallmark temples of Sri Vidya tradition in Hinduism.
