Description
Svenska: Gipsmodell är utförd 1934 av skulpturgrupp "Hjulsmide", utförd av Fröken Anna Troili-Petersson. Efter denna gipsmodell gjordes i maj 1956 av Lauritz Rasmussen, Köpenhamn, två avgjutningar i brons, bekostade av Surahammars Bruks AB, Surahammar. Därvid måste gipsen brytas isär för formarnas utförande. Gipsmodellen förvaras på TM isärtagen på detta sätt. Pris för båda avgjutningarna, ciselerade, 5.000:-. Ett exemplar av denna avgjutning överlämnat till Statens Järnvägar den 1 dec. 1956 av Surahammars Bruks AB med anledning av Statens Järnvägars hundraårsjubileum. Ett exemplar överlämnat till Tekniska Museet 1956. På bronsavgjutningen har en slägga skadats och ersatts av nytillverkad juli 1978. Gipsmodellen skänktes av Professorskan Gerda Almquist. Bronsavgjutningen av Surahammars Bruks AB.
