| Description |
中文（繁體）：淨水廠營運至今已逾百年，為少數完整保留具歷史性的水利工程設施。淨水場興建於坡地上，利用坡地高差與物理原理，依次設計沈澱池、過濾池及淨水池，省能的進行分水、淨水。1895年日本總督府為解決台灣當時的衛生問題，於1896年提出建設上下水道（給水、排水）設施計畫，將基隆水道的水源設置於暖暖街西側的西勢溪上游地帶，設置水厭儲水及淨水廠。1898年基隆水道工程動工，1902年完工，10月正式開始給水。光復後由水源處接管，並改名為「台灣省自來水公司第一區管理處－新水給水廠、暖暖淨水廠」。 |
