Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; Viering van het 10-jarige jubileum van het Bio-vakantieoord in "Russenduin" te Bergen aan Zee. In het Bio-Vakantieoord konden kinderen van lagere sociale afkomst ("bleekneusjes") een zesweekse vakantie houden. De kinderen waren meestal afkomstig uit de grotere steden waar in de bioscopen werd gecollecteerd. SHOTS: - wapperende vlag van de stichting Bio-vakantieoord; - ext. Bio-vakantioord; - toespraak van de voorzitter van de stichting Bio-vakantieoord, J. ter Linden in "Russenduin" waarin hij oa zijn dank uitspreekt aan het Nederlandse volk; - toespraak A. de Hoop over de plannen mbt de bouw van een lighal waar de kinderen kunnen rusten; - patiëntjes brengen een bloemen- en zanghulde; - kinderen, aan tafels gezeten, drinken en eten taart.
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; Celebration of the 10 year anniversary of the Bio-vacation resort at "Russenduin" in Bergen aan Zee. In the Bio-vacation resort children of a lower social class ("pale children") could have a six week vacation. Most of the children came from the larger cities, where collections were held in the cinemas. SHOTS: - waving flag of the Bio-vacation resort foundation; - ext. Bio-vacation resort; - speech of the chairman of the Bio-vacation resort foundation, J. ter Linden at "Russenduin" in which he thanks the Dutch people; - speech A. de Hoop about plans for the construction of a resting hall for the children; - patients pay a flower and singing tribute; - children, sitting at tables, drinking and eating cake. |
