שם: מטולה
תיאור: מטולה - בתחילת דרכה על גבול לבנון
הערות: מטולה (מְטֻלָּה) - מועצה מקומית ומושבה בגליל העליון והיישוב הצפוני ביותר בישראל. מוקפת בגבול לבנון. ע"ש הכפר דרוזי אל-מֻטַ֫לַּה - התצפית , שהיה במקום. הוקמה ב- 1896 ויושבה על ידי משפחות ממושבות הברון השונות. בסיום מלחה"ע 1 הועברה לתחום המנדט הצרפתי על לבנון והוחזרה לתחומי המנדט הבריטי ב 1923. במלחה"ע 2 שימשה מרכז לפעילות צבאית בריטית נגד צבאות וישי בסוריה. בהסכם שביתת הנשק עם לבנון ב1948 הועברו הקרקעות החקלאיות בעמק עיון לשטח לבנון. באוקטובר 2023 בזמן מלחמת חרבות ברזל פונתה מטולה מתושביה.
