English: Name: Kfar Gaza - before and after October 7th Description: On October 7, 2023, terrorists from the terrorist organization Hamas infiltrated the kibbutz as part of a surprise attack on Israel, massacred over 70 people and kidnapped 18 to the territory of the Gaza Strip, destroyed and burned houses. A battle took place in the kibbutz that lasted over three days until the kibbutz was cleared of terrorists. To this day, the place functions as a closed military area. עברית: שם: כפר עזה- לפני ואחרי ה 7 באוקטובר תיאור: ב-7 באוקטובר 2023 מחבלים מארגון הטרור חמאס חדרו לקיבוץ כחלק ממתקפת הפתע על ישראל, טבחו בלמעלה מ-70 איש ו-18 נחטפו לשטח רצועת עזה, הרסו ושרפו בתים. בקיבוץ התחולל קרב שארך מעל שלושה ימים עד לטיהור הקיבוץ ממחבלים. עד היום המקום מתפקד כשטח צבאי סגור. הערות: כפר עזה הוא קיבוץ חילוני בין שדרות ונתיבות. הקיבוץ נוסד לראשונה בשנת 1951 כהיאחזות נח"ל על ידי עולים ממצרים וטנג'יר כחלק מההתיישבות לאורך קווי שביתת הנשק, על גבול עזה, לאחר מלחמת העצמאות. בשנותיו הראשונות עבר הקיבוץ משבר חברתי ועמד בפני פירוק, עד שבשנת 1956 הגיע לקיבוץ גרעין נח”ל מוצנח המורכב מחניכי הנוער העובד ומחניכי הצופים ולמעשה חברי הגרעין הם שהקימו את הקיבוץ מחדש. בשנת 1994 הוקמה הרחבה קהילתית וכיום מתגוררות בקיבוץ כ- 800 איש שמתפרנסים מחקלאות ותעשייה. מיקום: כפר עזה קובץ מקורי: כפר עזה 1.jpg |
