English: Name: Beit Hadar Tel Aviv-Yafo Description: Beit Hadar is the first office building built in Tel Aviv. The building was designed in 1934 by architect Carl Rubin and built between 1936 and 1938. This building is the first building built as a steel frame, a relatively rare type of construction in Israel. It was used during the mandate period as a British headquarters עברית: שם: בית הדר תל אביב יפו תיאור: בית הדר הוא בניין המשרדים הראשון שנבנה בתל אביב. הבניין תוכנן ב-1934 על ידי האדריכל קרל רובין ונבנה בין השנים 1936 ו-1938. מבנה זה הוא הבניין הראשון שנבנה כשלד פלדה, סוג בנייה נדירה יחסית בישראל. שימש בתקופת המנדט כמפקדה בריטית הערות: הבניין מוגדר כמבנה לשימור כחלק מהעיר הלבנה של תל אביב. המבנה מאופיין בצורות קובייתיות פשוטות בנות ארבע קומות (באגפי המבנה) וחזית עגולה בגובה חמש קומות הפונה אל צומת הרחובות. כמו כן בולטים בו חלונות הסרט האופקיים אשר אפיינו את הסגנון הבינלאומי. הוא הוקם בתוואי רחוב הרכבת עברה עד 1970 מסילת הרכבת מיפו לירושלים, ובסמוך לבית הדר ניצב בית המכס ששכן לצד המסילה. מיקום: תל אביב מעלה הצילום: שרה פולק מקור הצילום: שמוליק תגר קובץ מקורי: אוסף שמוליק תגר-Enhanced.jpg |
