הערות: תֵּל קָצִיר הוא קיבוץ בעמק הירדן, מדרום מזרח לכנרת. הוא הוקם באזור המפורז ב-3 בנובמבר 1949 על ידי גרעין התיישבותי של תנועת הצופים וקבוצת צעירים מחברת נוער "שיבולת" מקיבוץ אפיקים - בנות ובנים שהועלו מדמשק לארץ ישראל וראו את חזונם בהקמת יישוב. חילוקי הדעות עם סוריה לגבי מהות האזור המפורז הביאו להתנכלויות חוזרות ונשנות מצד הסורים ליישוב, שהוקם, לטענתם, בניגוד להסכם שביתת הנשק – התנכלויות שנמשכו עד למלחמת ששת הימים. מקור התמונה: פרוייקט שימור לדורות של בית יגאל אלון ואוניברסיטת הרוורד.
