| Description | Built in 2004, this contemporary mixed-use building houses condos and retail space. The building has a four-story limestone panel-clad base with large storefronts with aluminum panels and four recessed contrasting pilasters, which continue up to the building’s roof. The upper floors feature large glass curtain walls, with cantilevered corner balconies featuring metal railings, and a rooftop terrace atop the podium on the building’s southwest side. The building is one many contemporary mid-rise buildings constructed in Downtown Madison during the late 20th Century and early 21st Century, which have altered the historic low-rise character that previously defined the city. |
