Name: Hill 69
Description: The Battle of Giva 69 took place during the War of Independence on June 10, 1948 between a force of the Egyptian army and Company B of the 51st Battalion of the Givati Brigade. The battle ended with the occupation of the hill by the Egyptians and the withdrawal of the company with heavy losses - 20 dead, many wounded and prisoners.
