Description: Givat Tom and Tomer is a botanical garden for the plants of the Land of Israel and a memorial site for the 73 victims of the helicopter disaster.

שם: גבעת תום ותומר
תיאור: גבעת תום ותומר היא גן בוטני לצמחי ארץ ישראל ואתר הנצחה ל-73 נספי אסון המסוקים.
הערות: תקופת תש"ח גבעה סמוכה למקום נקראה "גבעה 105" על שום גובהה ושימשה כמשלט במהלך מלחמת העצמאות. לאחר קום המדינה שימש כמחצבה לסלעים וכורכר, את שרידיה ניתן לראות עד היום מן התצפית המערבית. במהלך שנות ה-80, הגה חבר קיבוץ נגבה יואב קידר יוזמה להקים באתר השומם גן בוטני לצמחי ארץ ישראל, ואף התחיל בעבודות להקמתו. בשנת 1997, לאחר אסון המסוקים החליט קידר להקים במקום אתר הנצחה לבנו תומר קידר צ'יזיק מנגבה וחברו הקרוב תום כיתאין מנוה שלום, שנהרגו באסון.
