Summary

[edit]
Description
English: During 1997, a series of "turn up and go" steam excursions operated between Exeter St Davids and Newton Abbot, known as the "Dawlish Donkey". The first years saw Ex-GWR 14XX 0-4-2T 1450 operating these trains. Whilst waiting to snap the service at Teignmouth, I also captured an HST in the early green and gold First Great Western livery heading for Plymouth.
